Doors of Happiness

Some days end up great and you realize that you had nothing to do with it.

Work was busy, so it went fast.  Sang at church tonight for Eighth Grade graduation and Mom and Dad came to listen.  Then sat with a wonderful person and her family and had a really great time talking and laughing.  I never get tired of seeing someone’s face light up when they laugh.  Simple and very pleasurable.

As much as I often enjoy being alone, this is one of the few times over this past year that I felt like my “old self”.

Interesting how music has been a part of two of the best nights I have had over the past couple weeks.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.
– Helen Keller

I think I am starting to recognize the open door.
